He was a man who touched so many, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him. He approached life with a quiet strength and a gentle spirit that drew people to him. He was a mentor, a confidant, and a source of hope for so many. He was even a proud member of the Airforce Academy and volunteered his time assisting and mentoring others on change. Family was everything to Abdul. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Andrea R. Hardware-Lewis, and his parents, Blanche Lewis and Peter Lewis, as well as his sisters, Lois Hill; Diana Lewis & Linda Wolfe. He is survived by his two daughters, Ladongula Wyatt & Kaysha S. Nesbitt; his loving grandchildren, Khaylee; Grayson; Vernique and great-granddaughter Madison. He is also surrounded by his sibling Marc G. Lewis, his current fiancé Miss Lynda Logan; a host of nieces & nephews, first cousins. Abdul cherished his family and always made time for them, whether it was a phone call, a visit, or just a shared moment of laughter. Beyond his work and family, Abdul had a zest for life. He was an avid reader, particularly drawn to mystery and suspense, and enjoyed a good chess match or board game. He harbored a secret dream of writing, producing, and directing a horror movie – a testament to his creative spirit and playful nature. He loved to travel, make new friends, and experience different cultures. Abdul’s generosity knew no bounds, and he consistently sought opportunities to lend a hand or offer support. He leaves behind a world made brighter by his presence, and we will forever remember him for his kindness, his unwavering spirit, and the profound impact he had on all our lives.
