Anatoly Dolmatov
January 1, 1951 - April 9, 2026 (Age 75)
It is with broken hearts but endless gratitude that we say goodbye to Anatoly Petrovich Dolmatov, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Born on New Year's Day 1951, Anatoly brought light into the world from the very start, and he spent the next 75 years sharing that light with everyone fortunate enough to know him. He passed peacefully on April 9, 2026, in Cheremkhovsky District, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, dedication, and quiet strength that will live on in all of us.
Anatoly was a man of deep conviction and gentle spirit. As a member of the Soviet of the Union from 1987 to 1989, he served his country with honor and integrity, always putting the needs of his constituents first. Those who worked alongside him remember his thoughtful approach, his willingness to listen, and his uncanny ability to find common ground even in the most difficult discussions. He never sought recognition or praise—he simply did what he believed was right, day after day, with unwavering commitment.
But beyond his public service, Anatoly was first and foremost a devoted family man. He met his wife, Natasha, young, and they built a life together filled with love, laughter, and countless small moments of joy. Their home was always open, their table always full, and their doors never locked to family or friends. He was a patient father who taught his children the value of hard work and compassion, and later, a doting grandfather who treasured every moment spent with his grandchildren, whether teaching them to fish, telling them stories, or simply sitting together in comfortable silence.
Anatoly found joy in life's simple pleasures—a morning walk, a strong cup of tea, tending to his garden, and long conversations with old friends. He had a wonderful sense of humor and could always make us laugh, even on the darkest days. His warmth was infectious, his smile genuine, and his heart enormous.
To know Anatoly was to love him. He touched so many lives with his kindness, his wisdom, and his unconditional love. We are richer for having had him in our lives, and though we will miss him terribly, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit lives on in every act of kindness we perform, in every person he inspired, and in the love he planted in all of our hearts. Rest now, dear Anatoly. You have earned it.
