Anatoly Dolmatov
January 1, 1951 - April 9, 2026 (Age 75)
Our dear Anatoly Petrovich Dolmatov left us far too soon on April 9th, 2026, leaving behind a void only his remarkable spirit could fill. Born on January 1st, 1951, he was a man of unwavering principle and quiet strength, a true son of his times and a devoted family man. His heart belonged first and foremost to his family – to his wife, his children, and the growing circle of grandchildren who adored his kind eyes and gentle patience. He wasn't just a husband or father; he was a rock, a source of unwavering support and unconditional love that shaped who we all are. His passion for his country, evident in his service in the Soviet of the Union from 1987 to 1989, was matched only by his love for his home and hearth.
Beyond the political arena, Anatoly Petrovich found profound joy in life's simple, enduring pleasures. He had a green thumb that made his garden burst with colour each spring, a sanctuary where he found peace and shared quiet moments with his wife. He was a formidable chess player, his sharp mind always ready for a strategic battle, and even more so, a master storyteller. Gatherings around his table were never complete without him sharing tales, his voice warm and animated, weaving history and personal anecdotes that made us laugh, reflect, and feel connected to our roots. He took immense pride in mentoring younger minds, always ready with advice or a listening ear, believing in the power of community and shared responsibility.
Anatoly Petrovich Dolmatov touched countless lives, not through grand gestures, but through consistent kindness, integrity, and a deep-seated compassion. He treated everyone with respect, from old comrades to neighbours needing a hand. He taught us by example the value of hard work, the importance of standing up for what you believe in, and
