Born in 1939, Andriy lived a life devoted to service, first as a brilliant medical scientist, and later as a leader in healthcare. I’ll always remember his infectious laugh and the way his eyes would crinkle at the corners when he was genuinely amused. He possessed a rare ability to make everyone he met feel seen and valued, whether you were a close friend, a colleague, or simply someone he encountered on the street. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Andriy’s heart belonged to his family.
