It’s with heavy hearts and full of love that we say goodbye to our Antón. To us, he wasn’t the politician from the headlines; he was the heart of our family, the man with the crinkliest smile and the quietest, most steadfast kindness. I’ll forever remember lazy Sunday mornings at his house, the smell of strong coffee and his wife’s *filloas* filling the kitchen. He’d have the grandkids on his shoulders, pretending to be a tired, laughing sea captain, or hunched over the table
