Bob Tullius
January 1, 1931 - March 18, 2026 (Age 95)
Hey there, Bob. It’s hard to believe you’re gone. We’re all still trying to wrap our heads around it, but we know you’re finally at peace, cruising down that perfect straightaway in the sky.
You were more than just Dad, Grandpa, or Great-Grandpa to us. You were the guy who’d show up at our little league games with a thermos of hot chocolate, the one who’d sit for hours telling the most outrageous stories about your racing days, the one who’d tease us mercilessly but always had a hug ready. Remember that time you took us all camping and got hopelessly lost trying to find the “perfect” fishing spot? We ended up at that little diner with the best pie, and you laughed until you cried. That’s the Bob we’ll always remember – full of life, full of stories, and full of love for this crazy bunch.
Your passion for racing wasn’t just a job; it was your heartbeat. You lived for the roar of those engines, the smell of burning rubber, and the sheer thrill of competition. You poured your soul into every race, every team you built and nurtured. You had this incredible drive, this determination that was infectious. Even when things got tough on the track, you’d push through, showing everyone what grit really looked like. But that same fierce spirit translated off the track too – you fought for your family, for your friends, for what was right. You were a champion, not just on the circuit, but in life.
You taught us so much, Bob. You showed us the power of hard work, the importance of kindness, and the sheer joy of living life to the absolute fullest. You made us laugh until our sides hurt, you made us feel safe, and you made us believe we could conquer anything. You were our rock, our guide
