Dee Freeman

January 1, 1960 - April 5, 2026 (Age 66)

It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Dee Freeman, born January 1, 1960, and peacefully departed this life on April 5, 2026. Dee was a bright light in our lives, a woman who possessed a warmth and spirit that touched everyone she met. I have so many cherished memories of her, from those early days of her career taking her on exciting adventures on stage and screen, to the quiet moments spent with family and friends. She had a remarkable ability to make people feel seen and valued, a quality that truly defined her. I remember when she first started working on *The Young and the Restless* – she was so nervous, but also so determined, and her passion for storytelling was evident from the very beginning. It was clear then that she was destined for great things. Dee was more than just an actress; she was a vibrant, creative soul. She poured her heart into everything she did, whether it was a dramatic role or a simple conversation. She loved to laugh, to dance (even if it was just in the kitchen!), and to spend time with her beloved family. Her family was the center of her world, and she cherished the bonds she shared with her siblings, nieces, nephews, and all of the extended family. She was the kind of aunt who always had time for a story, a listening ear, and a generous hug. I’ll always remember her infectious laugh and the way she could make even the most ordinary day feel extraordinary. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Dee was a true advocate for kindness and compassion. She had a knack for bringing people together and fostering a sense of community. She believed in the power of empathy and always strived to make a positive impact on the lives of those around her. She taught us all the importance of living each day with gratitude and joy, and her example will continue to inspire us. While the loss of Dee’s physical presence leaves a void that can never truly be filled, the memories she created will live on forever in our hearts. Dee is survived by her family, who will continue to carry her spirit forward. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A celebration of Dee’s life will be held on [Date] at [Location]. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to [Charity of Choice] in Dee’s name. Rest in peace, dear Dee. You will always be in our hearts.
