Edoardo Lualdi Gabardi

January 1, 1932 - April 22, 2026 (Age 94)

We are all so heartbroken to be saying goodbye to Edoardo today. My dear, dear friend simply slipped away much too soon, leaving a silence where his booming laugh used to be. I remember the sheer, uncontainable joy on his face as a child, a grin that seemed to say, "Life is an adventure, and I am ready for it." He lived that truth every single day, racing through ninety-four incredible years with a passion that was impossible to ignore. Edoardo’s life was a thrilling race, and what a magnificent driver he was. He had this extraordinary passion for hillclimbing, and we all knew that no other car would do but a Ferrari. He had a brilliant, almost mischievous, way of living his legend—he would buy these magnificent machines, chase glory on the toughest mountain roads, and then sell them to fund the next dream. It was a beautiful, chaotic cycle of creation and renewal that only he could pull off, a testament to his shrewd business mind and his undying love for the roar of the engine. But it was as a husband, a father, and a grandfather that his heart was the biggest. He wrapped his family in a warmth that was his greatest treasure, always with a kind word and a listening ear. He taught us that true joy comes from the simple things: a perfectly brewed espresso, a shared meal at the table, and the quiet comfort of being together. His passing leaves a void that feels impossible to fill, yet we find comfort in knowing how fully he lived. He touched so many lives with his generosity and his indomitable spirit. Edoardo, you raced through life with such grace and fire, and now you can rest. We will carry your spark with us always, and we miss you more than words can ever truly say. You were, and always will be, so deeply loved.
