Enrica Bonaccorti

January 1, 1950 - March 12, 2026 (Age 76)

It’s hard to believe we’re saying goodbye to Enrica. Born on November 18, 1949, she left us far too soon on March 12, 2026, leaving a hole in our lives that will be impossible to fill. Enrica was, simply put, a force of nature. A whirlwind of laughter, passion, and unapologetic sparkle. I’ll always remember her infectious giggle – it could light up a room and chase away any gloom. She had this incredible ability to make everyone feel seen and special, like they were the most important person in the world when she was talking to them. I recall one time, years ago, she spent a whole afternoon helping me pick out a ridiculous, brightly coloured scarf, insisting it perfectly captured my “inner sunshine.” That was Enrica – always encouraging you to embrace your quirks and shine. Her career, of course, was remarkable. Many of us knew her from her time on "Non è la Rai" and her appearances in films like "Your Vice Is a Locked Room and Only I Have the Key" and "The Sensual Man." She brought such a unique energy to everything she did, a playful confidence that was utterly captivating. But for those of us who knew her best, it was the Enrica outside the spotlight that truly shone. She adored her family – her children and grandchildren were her absolute everything. She was fiercely protective and endlessly proud, always cheering them on with a warmth that could melt glaciers. And let’s not forget her love for a good plate of pasta, a glass of robust red wine, and a lively conversation that could last for hours! Enrica found joy in the simple things: a beautiful sunset, a perfectly ripe tomato, a good book, and most of all, connecting with people. She was a generous spirit, always ready to lend an ear, offer advice (often delightfully unconventional!), or simply share a comforting hug. She had a knack for bringing people together, creating a sense of community wherever she went. Her impact on those who knew her was profound – she taught us to laugh louder, love fiercely, and to never, ever take ourselves too seriously. We’ll miss her terribly – her wit, her warmth, her unwavering optimism. But we’ll also celebrate the incredible life she lived, a life filled with passion, laughter, and an abundance of love. Rest in peace, our dear Enrica. You will forever be in our hearts.
