G. M. Fazlul Haque

My heart is so heavytoday, thinking of our beloved G. M. Fazlul Haque. He was more than just a name on a ballot; he was our G.M., our gentle giant, our anchor. Born in 1943, he left this world on March 17th, 2026, but the warmth of his spirit will forever linger in our hearts. G.M. wasn't defined solely by his service as a Jatiya Sangsad MP for Chandpur-3 from 1996 to 2006. He was the man who'd spend hours tending his garden, his hands dirt-stained, sharing the fruits of his labour with anyone who stopped by. He had this incredible knack for storytelling, often recalling his younger days with a twinkle in his eye and a laugh that could fill a room. He was fiercely proud of our culture, always ready with a witty Bengali proverb or a song. But most importantly, he was the rock of our family. His love for his wife was profound, a quiet devotion that spoke volumes. He cherished his children and grandchildren beyond measure, his eyes lighting up whenever they visited. He
