Born on January 1st, 1951, he left us far too soon on March 10th, 2026, leaving a hole in our hearts and a legacy of laughter that will echo for years to come. Jamie wasn’t just a person; he was a force of sunshine, a whirlwind of creativity, and the kind of friend who could always make you smile, even on the toughest days. I’ll always remember his infectious giggle – it was impossible to be grumpy around him. He had this incredible ability to find joy in the simplest things, whether it was a perfectly brewed cup of tea, a silly joke, or just a good chat with a friend. Most people knew Jamie as Agro, the lovable, mischievous puppet who brought so much joy to generations of Australian kids. He poured his heart and soul into that character, and it was a testament to his talent and wit. But Jamie was so much more than just Agro. He was a talented musician, starting out as a drummer and songwriter, and a warm, engaging radio host. He loved sharing his passions, and his enthusiasm was utterly contagious.
