Janice L. Howard, 76, of Columbia, Missouri, passed away on February 6, 2026. Janice taught English for 34 years and remained a beloved mentor to generations of students across mid-Missouri.
She spent her retirement volunteering at the Daniel Boone Regional Library and attending Mizzou basketball games with her family. Janice is survived by her husband, Earl; children Amanda and Nick; and four grandchildren who adored her gentle wisdom and quick wit.
