My dearestJózef, where do I even begin? You were my rock, my hero, my forever love. Born in Mokrzeszów in 1937, you carried that quiet strength and determination from the very start. You weren't just my husband; you were my partner in every adventure, big and small. You lived your life with such quiet passion, especially on two wheels. That Olympic dream, competing in the 1964 Tokyo Games, was a testament to your incredible dedication. You trained so hard, pushing yourself to the limit, and that team spirit you carried into the velodrome was pure magic. Winning the Tour de Pologne in '65? Pure joy radiated from you that day. But honestly, your greatest victories were right here at home. You had this amazing ability to make everyone feel seen and valued. Remember how you'd patiently help any neighbour with a tricky repair? Or how you'd sit for hours, lost in thought, working on your lathe? There was something deeply satisfying about creating something with your hands, something tangible. And oh, the stories you'd tell! That twinkle in your eye when you recounted your racing days – you had this wonderful blend of humility and pride. Family was everything to you. You were the anchor for us all – my beloved husband, the fiercely protective and loving father to our children, and the most incredible grandfather to your grandchildren. You had this unique way of making each of us feel special, whether it was your famous Sunday dinners or just sitting quietly together. You taught us resilience, the value of hard work, and the importance of kindness. You showed us what it truly meant to love unconditionally. The world feels a little quieter, a little less colourful without
