Karen Muenster
January 1, 1943 - April 4, 2026 (Age 83)
Karen Muenster was a true gem in a room full of stories. Everyone remembered her for her warmth and the way she made everyone feel seen. I’ll never forget the time she surprised a friend with a basket of her favorite biscuits after a long day, or how she’d always be the first to cheer when the kids at the local school got an A. She had this incredible ability to bring people together, whether it was at the council meeting or at the park with her beloved dog, Max.
Karen wasn’t just a politician—she was a family woman at heart. Her late husband and children cherished her for her quiet strength and the laughter she always brought into their lives. She had a passion for gardening and always said she found the most joy in tending her garden, sharing tips and stories with everyone who visited. Her love for reading and painting never faded, and she often hosted small gatherings where friends and neighbors would share their favorite quotes and artwork.
Though Alzheimer’s touched her life in ways she couldn’t fully explain, Karen’s spirit remained unbroken. She taught us to cherish moments, to be present, and to find beauty in the everyday. Her legacy is not just in the policies she helped shape, but in the love she poured into every person she met. We’ll always remember her with a smile and a heart full of gratitude.
