Karen wasn’t just a politician—she was a family woman at heart. Her late husband and children cherished her for her quiet strength and the laughter she always brought into their lives. She had a passion for gardening and always said she found the most joy in tending her garden, sharing tips and stories with everyone who visited. Her love for reading and painting never faded, and she often hosted small gatherings where friends and neighbors would share their favorite quotes and artwork. Though Alzheimer’s touched her life in ways she couldn’t fully explain, Karen’s spirit remained unbroken. She taught us to cherish moments, to be present, and to find beauty in the everyday.
