Louis Saia

January 1, 1951 - April 3, 2026 (Age 75)

My dear Louis Saia. We'regoing to miss you so much. You were more than just a brilliant filmmaker; you were our beloved Papa, our kind-hearted brother, our funny uncle, and our forever friend. Born on a crisp January day in 1951, you left us on April 3rd, 2026, after a long and full life that touched so many. You poured your soul into your work, creating laughter and heart with the Les Boys films. But your greatest joy? That was always right here, with your family. You were fiercely devoted to Maria, your rock for fifty incredible years. You doted on your children, cheering them on at every game, listening to their dreams, and always having time for your grandkids. Remember how you'd gather us all around the TV for a Les Boys marathon, your laughter echoing louder than the hockey fights on screen? That's the Louis we'll hold onto forever – the storyteller, the joker, the man who could find the funny in any situation and make everyone feel included and loved. You had a warmth that just filled a room. Your kindness and generosity touched everyone you met. You were a mentor to aspiring filmmakers, always offering a word of encouragement and sharing your wisdom. You believed in the power of a good story and the importance of laughter. You left behind a legacy of joy through your films and a legacy of love in the hearts of all who knew you. We'll miss your wise eyes, your hearty laugh, and the way you made us feel like the most important people in your world. Rest easy, our wonderful Louis. You lived a life rich with love and laughter, and we are forever grateful.
