As a Member of the National Assembly for Csongrád from 1998 to 2014, he tirelessly advocated for the people of his constituency. But it wasn’t just about politics for László; it was about making a tangible difference in people's lives. He was deeply rooted in his community, and his passion for education and rural development shone through in all his endeavors. He poured his heart into the Independent Smallholders, Agrarian Workers and Civic Party (FKGP), believing firmly in the power of collective action and a strong sense of local identity. Beyond his political life, László had a wealth of passions. He found immense joy in tending to his garden, always boasting about his prize-winning tomatoes! He was an avid reader, with a particular fondness for history, and cherished spending time with his family. His love for his wife, Judit, and their children, Péter and Anna, was the cornerstone of his world. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, always offering support, encouragement, and a comforting presence. He instilled in his family the values of hard work, integrity, and compassion – values that guided him throughout his life. László’s legacy will live on not just in the policies he helped shape, but in the countless lives he touched. He will be remembered for his integrity, his generosity, and his genuine care for others.
