Mary Elizabeth Price

Mary Elizabeth Price, born February 12, 1953, in Birmingham, Alabama, died on September 28, 2026, at age 73, also in Birmingham. Mary was a devoted member of Grace Life Baptist Church, where her faith was the center of her life. She spent countless hours reading the Bible and found deep joy in those quiet moments of reflection. But her warmth extended far beyond her prayer time—she had a way of making everyone around her feel seen and valued. Those who knew her remembered her kind heart and the smile that seemed always ready on her face. She was married to James Larry Price and was a proud mother to Jimmy (Wendy) and Jamey (Deidre), and grandmother to their children Aaron, Zac, Lexie, Adam and Deena. Spending time with her grandchildren brought her particular delight; she treasured those moments of connection across generations. She is also survived by her siblings Beverly Farley and Bobby Allen. She was preceded in death by her siblings Kevin Allen and Pam Allen. Mary's life was marked by the quiet strength of someone who lived her values every day—through her faith, her love for her family, and her genuine kindness to all she met.
