Michael "Mike" Gallagher

Michael "Mike" Gallagher, 72, of New Haven, Connecticut, passed away on February 4, 2026. Mike was a skilled facilities manager at Yale who took immense pride in keeping historic buildings running smoothly. Outside of work, he was a loyal UConn fan, a longtime volunteer at the Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen, and the neighbor who always shoveled the sidewalk first after a snowstorm. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; two daughters; and three grandchildren.
