He dedicated himself to this incredible art form, tirelessly working to elevate it, to bring it to new audiences, and to ensure its traditions were honored while embracing modern sensibilities. He was a true pioneer, a director, writer, and actor who poured his heart and soul into every performance. Winning the Bangla Academy Literary Award in 2022 was a testament to his dedication and a moment of immense pride for our family. But for Milon, the real reward was seeing the joy on people’s faces as they watched a Jatra unfold, feeling the collective energy of the audience, and knowing he was a part of something truly special. He loved sharing stories, both on and off stage, and could captivate you for hours with tales of his adventures in the theatre world. Family was everything to Milon. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a doting grandfather. He cherished every moment spent with his children and grandchildren, always ready with a silly joke, a piece of advice, or just a comforting presence. He taught us the importance of hard work, the power of laughter, and the beauty of embracing our culture. He instilled in us a deep appreciation for the arts and a desire to always strive for something more. His love was a constant, a warm and steady force in all our lives.
