Nuno Morais Sarmento

Nuno, born on January 1st, 1961, was a man who truly lived life to the fullest, leaving an indelible mark on Portugal and on all of us who were fortunate enough to know him. I’ll always remember his infectious laugh, that twinkle in his eye, and his unwavering optimism – even when facing challenges. He had a way of making everyone feel seen and valued, a quality that made him such a cherished friend and colleague. Beyond his distinguished career in Portuguese politics, where he served as Minister of the Presidency and Member of the Assembly of the Republic, Nuno was a passionate man with a deep love for his family and the simple pleasures in life.
