Pascal found his purest joy in the simple, beautiful rhythms of home. I can still see him on Sunday afternoons, expertly grilling fish on the patio while the sounds of traditional Togolese music played just a little too loud, his shoulders swaying to the beat. He was a master storyteller, weaving tales from his childhood in Lomé with such vivid detail you felt you were there. His passion was building—not just businesses or projects through his work, but a legacy of love. He built a home where everyone felt welcome, where the table was never too full and the pot was never empty. He taught us that success wasn’t measured in ledgers, but in the number of people who considered your door always open.
His impact stretched far beyond his family’s embrace. In his professional life, he was a pillar of integrity, a mentor to countless young people, and a steady hand guiding development with a compassion that was rare.
