Rostyslav Chapiuk

January 1, 1938 - March 10, 2026 (Age 88)

Dear Rostyslav, ourbeloved husband, father, grandfather, and dear friend, we gather today with hearts both heavy and full. Born on a cold January day in 1937, you entered this world with a spirit as strong and enduring as the Ukrainian soil you cherished. You were the rock of our family, the quiet strength that held us all together through every season of life. Your love was a constant, a warm embrace that wrapped around us all, offering comfort and unwavering support without ever asking for anything in return. Your passion, Rostyslav, was deeply rooted in serving others. Though your formal career as a People's Deputy for the Peasant Party from 1994 to 1998 was a significant chapter, it was truly the embodiment of your lifelong dedication to justice and the well-being of your fellow Ukrainians. You didn't just hold office; you carried the hopes and struggles of your constituents in your heart. You were known for your tireless work ethic, your sharp mind, and a quiet determination that saw you through even the toughest debates. But beyond the halls of power, you found immense joy in the simpler things. You could often be found tending to your garden, the earth beneath your fingers grounding you, or sharing a hearty laugh over a cup of tea with friends and family. Your stories, filled with the rich tapestry of Ukrainian history and your own experiences, were a gift we all cherished
