Sam was a dedicated postal worker and a beloved baseball coach who spent his evenings mentoring young athletes at local parks. He was known for his steady faith, his love of the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo, and the way he remembered every neighbor's name. Sam is survived by his wife, Maria; children Olivia and Daniel; and five grandchildren who called him "Coach" even at home.
