Thomas Eugene McKinley

Thomas Eugene McKinley, 81, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on February 5, 2026. A proud son of the Miami Valley, Tom served in the U.S. Air Force before returning home to raise his family and build a respected career at the GM Moraine Assembly plant. Tom was known for his steady hands, his Saturday morning breakfasts at the local diner, and his lifelong love of aviation at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. He coached Little League for years and never missed a grandchild's school play. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marlene; children Erin McKinley-Hart and Kevin McKinley; six grandchildren; and his sister, Joyce.
