Tin Myint Aung
January 1, 1968 - March 23, 2026 (Age 58)
It’s hard to believe we’re saying goodbye to Tin Myint Aung. He left us on March 23rd, 2026, far too soon, but what a life he packed into those 58 years. To so many of us, he was simply “Tin,” a name that felt as warm and familiar as a favorite sweater. He was a whirlwind of energy, a mischievous grin always playing on his lips, and a heart bigger than any football field. I’ll always remember the time he tried to teach me a few Burmese phrases – my pronunciation was atrocious, and he just doubled over laughing, but he kept trying, patiently, until I could at least stumble through a greeting. That was Tin – endlessly patient, endlessly joyful, and always ready to share a laugh.
Of course, most people knew Tin for his incredible talent on the pitch. He was a legend, a star player for Finance and Revenue F.C. and a proud member of the Myanmar national football team. Seeing him play was electric; he moved with such grace and passion, and he had this uncanny ability to read the game. Later, he poured that same dedication and knowledge into managing the national team, always striving to inspire and uplift the players. But beyond the accolades and the championships, he was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, [Wife's Name - *Please insert name*], and a loving father to [Children's Names - *Please insert names*]. His family was his everything, and he cherished every moment spent with them, whether it was cheering from the sidelines or simply sharing a quiet evening at home.
Tin found so much joy in the simple things. He loved a good cup of tea, a lively game of dominoes with friends, and spending time tending to his garden. He had a knack for making even the most ordinary moments feel special. He was a connector, always bringing people together, and he had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel seen and valued. He touched so many lives with his kindness, his generosity, and his unwavering optimism.
We’ll miss his booming laugh, his infectious enthusiasm, and the way he could light up a room. The world feels a little dimmer without him. But we’ll carry his spirit with us, remembering the lessons he taught us about passion, perseverance, and the importance of cherishing every moment. Rest in peace, dear Tin. You will be forever in our hearts.
