Vidi Aldiano

January 1, 1991 - March 8, 2026 (Age 35)

It’s hard to believe we’re saying goodbye to Vidi. Our Vidi. Born on January 1st, 1991, he left us far too soon on March 8th, 2026, after a brave and quiet battle with kidney cancer. But even in those difficult months, his spirit shone through – that infectious laugh, that genuine warmth, that unwavering kindness. I’ll always remember the time he spent hours teaching me a ridiculously complicated guitar riff, patiently correcting my clumsy fingers with a smile. He never judged, always encouraged, and had a knack for making everyone around him feel seen and valued. He was just… effortlessly good. Vidi was a son, a brother, a nephew, a friend – and to so many, a beloved artist. He poured his heart and soul into his music, starting his journey in 2008 with "Pelangi di Malam Hari." Remember hearing "Nuansa Bening" and "Status Palsu" blasting from every radio? He brought so much joy to countless people through his songs, and his passion was undeniable. Achieving triple platinum with "Persona" in 2016 was a testament to his talent and the connection he had with his fans. But for Vidi, it was never about the awards or the fame. It was about the music, about sharing his stories, and about touching people’s lives. He cherished his family above all else, and the love he shared with them was a constant source of strength and happiness. Beyond the stage, Vidi was a simple soul. He loved a good cup of coffee, a quiet evening with friends, and losing himself in a good book. He had a quirky sense of humor, a genuine curiosity about the world, and a remarkable ability to find beauty in the everyday. He made friends easily and held onto them fiercely. He had this way of making you feel like you were the most important person in the room, and he truly believed in the good in everyone. Vidi’s light may have dimmed too soon, but the warmth of his memory will stay with us forever. He leaves behind a legacy of music, kindness, and love that will continue to inspire us all. We’ll miss his smile, his laughter, and his beautiful soul more than words can say. Rest easy, Vidi. You were loved beyond measure.
