Vidi Aldiano
January 1, 1991 - March 11, 2026 (Age 35)
Vidi Aldiano, our beloved singer, songwriter, and eternal optimist, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was 35 years old. Born on March 29, 1990, Vidi brought joy and music into the world from the very beginning, and he never stopped sharing his light with everyone he met.
Vidi's journey in music began in 2008 with his debut album *Pelangi di Malam Hari*, but his story started long before that. As a child, he would sing in the shower so loudly that the whole house would hear, and his family would gather around, laughing and clapping. That same joy and passion carried him through his career, from the early days of "Nuansa Bening" and "Status Palsu" to the triple platinum success of *Persona* in 2016. He was more than just a talented artist—he was a storyteller who could make you feel every emotion in his songs. Whether he was performing on stage or writing in his home studio, Vidi poured his heart into every note.
But Vidi's greatest role was that of a son, brother, and friend. He adored his family, especially his parents, who were his biggest supporters from day one. He would often call them just to say, "I love you," even if it was in the middle of a busy day. His siblings were his partners in mischief, and he never missed a chance to tease them or make them laugh. Vidi had a way of making everyone feel special, whether it was through a handwritten note, a surprise visit, or a song he wrote just for them. He was the kind of person who remembered your favorite coffee order and would show up with it on a bad day, just because.
Vidi faced his battle with kidney cancer with the same courage and positivity that defined his life. Even in his hardest moments, he found ways to inspire others, sharing his journey openly and reminding everyone to cherish every day. He once said, "Life is a song, and even the tough parts have their own melody." That spirit touched so many, and his legacy will live on in the music he created and the lives he changed.
Vidi Aldiano was a rare soul—a man who loved deeply, laughed often, and left the world a little brighter than he found it. He will be deeply missed, but his music, his kindness, and his love will echo in our hearts forever. Rest in peace, Vidi. You were, and always will be, our rainbow in the night.
