Vojtěch Adam

January 1, 1951 - April 12, 2026 (Age 75)

It’s with a profoundly heavy heart that we share the news of Vojtěch Adam’s passing on April 12th, 2026. Born on January 1st, 1951, Vojtěch lived a life brimming with purpose, kindness, and a quiet determination that touched so many. I’ll always remember his infectious laugh and the way his eyes would crinkle at the corners when he was truly amused – a sight that could instantly brighten any room. He possessed a rare blend of intellectual curiosity and down-to-earth charm, making him a wonderful conversationalist and a truly loyal friend. He wasn't one for grand pronouncements, but his actions always spoke volumes, and he approached everything – from complex political discussions to the simplest of everyday tasks – with unwavering integrity. Vojtěch’s life was dedicated to serving others, first as a dedicated surgeon, and later as a member of the Chamber of Deputies. He approached politics with the same meticulousness and commitment he brought to his medical practice, always striving to find practical solutions and advocate for those in need. He was fiercely proud of his roots in South Moravia and passionately represented the region’s interests. But beyond his public life, Vojtěch’s greatest joy came from the simple things: spending time with his family, tending to his garden (he had a knack for growing the most beautiful tomatoes!), and losing himself in a good book. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a cherished grandfather – the heart of our family. He instilled in us the importance of hard work, empathy, and a commitment to making the world a little bit better. He never sought the spotlight, but he shone brightly through his quiet acts of service and unwavering support for those around him. Vojtěch had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel seen and valued. He was a true friend, a compassionate colleague, and a devoted family man. The void he leaves behind is immense. We will miss his wisdom, his warmth, and his unwavering spirit. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy of kindness and dedication will continue to inspire us all. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, colleagues, and all those whose lives he touched. Rest in peace, dear Vojtěch.
