Volodymyr was a truly remarkable man – a brilliant scholar, a dedicated leader, and a deeply loved friend and family member. Born on January 1, 1952, Volodymyr lived a life filled with purpose, intellect, and a warm, generous spirit that touched everyone he met. I'll always remember his infectious laugh, the twinkle in his eye when he was discussing something he was passionate about, and his unwavering belief in the power of knowledge to shape a better future. Volodymyr dedicated his life to the betterment of Ukraine, first as a scholar and later as a politician. His time as Rector of O. M. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv was a testament to his commitment to education and progress. He fostered a supportive and stimulating environment for students, always encouraging them to think critically and pursue their dreams. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Volodymyr was a man of simple pleasures. He loved to spend time with his family, sharing stories and creating lasting memories. You could always find him lost in a book, tinkering with his model airplanes, or sharing a hearty meal with friends. He possessed a quiet joy in the everyday moments, appreciating the beauty in the world around him. Family was the cornerstone of Volodymyr's life.
