Emily Grace Anderson, 33, of Seattle, Washington, passed away on January 24, 2026, in a hiking accident on Mount Rainier. Emily lived life with extraordinary passion and purpose. An environmental scientist and activist, she dedicated her career to protecting the Pacific Northwest's old-growth forests and salmon habitats. She founded the nonprofit "Wild Tomorrow" and led successful campaigns that preserved over 50,000 acres of wilderness. Emily believed deeply in leaving the world better than she found it.
