Mary Lois Aughe, a devoted wife, mother, and community member, passed away peacefully in Cheyenne, Wyoming, on June 30, 2026, at the age of 94. Born on November 5, 1931, in Rawlins County, Kansas, Mary spent her early years in Atwood before making Cheyenne her home. Her warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her, whether at a swimming lesson, a family gathering, or a quiet moment on a camping trip. Mary’s heart was rooted in family. She is survived by her beloved husband of nearly six decades, Jack Loren Aughe, and their seven daughters: Susan, Patricia (Harry), Katharine (Dale), Myra, Jeanette, Janet (Brian), and Ann (Brian). Her legacy continues through her siblings, Ray, Melvin, and Hugh, as well as her parents, Pete and Mary Emma.
